Damn, thats a good price and pretty clean looking. Throw a nice little lift on it and some 31's and enjoy. I picked up my ‘95 5 speed for $2200 a few years ago with a lift already on it. The rockers are gone, floors were pretty much gone, death wobble the works. Just got down wheeling it Tuesday, thing still kicks ass.

He can’t even get the year right, maybe he’ll take $28 instead of $2800

My dad had red Cherokee Sport of that bodystyle when I was just young enough to start having memories and I reallly want one someday. The cloth seats were sweet and it would make the perfect winter car for me since the others are both RWD. Rwd is fun but my girlfriend doesn’t tend to enjoy my drifting on blizzaks as much as I do lol

Not bad if the rust situation isn't.

Related: an M715 popped up locally yesterday for $1500 (rough shape but runnable) and it sold immediately. The psychic pain.

Judging by the seal hanging out of the passenger door, I’d bet the inside of the door is rotted.

I’d love one, but such is life...

“seal hanging out the passenger door” gave me a completely different mental image. And yes, you’re right. There’s probably a nasty reason that seal can’t hold onto the door anymore.

Oddly enough, I’ve never seen a door on these rust, just the rockers. I’d bet its actually just a loose seal.

Being in WI, I’ve seen plenty of these rust. The doors always start rusting on the inside seam, leading to the seal falling out ( like this one ), then leading to the entire bottom of the door rotting off.

Northeast here, passenger side floor goes first, then above and around the rear shackle area or rockers. Depends on if you keep the body clean or not where the rot goes. On XJs, at least.
